What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise Joel Stone Heritage Park and Beach for its beautiful waterfront views, historical significance, and family-friendly amenities like the splash park and playground. It's considered a lovely spot for walks and photos, though parking can be a challenge during busy periods.
"Nice park with good waterfront views. Came for a walk through the park while in town for lunch a few weeks ago, there is a nice path that follows the waterfront through, and loops up to a loghthouse and large flagpole and back around. There's a beach and playground in the park as well as an amphitheater and a fair amount of open space. There's also a monument to the history of the region, which is cool to read. Parking could be a bit difficult, spots near the park fill fast, and are skinny, so it can be tough to get in or out of. Overall, it was a nice place to visit, I'd recommend it here."
