"Love the Maitland Woods! Brings me back to tromping around in the forest as a kid. The woods are in a low lying area, so if it's been raining a lot expect mud and to get wet. Great place to see the native forest through the seasons, from spring ephemerals like trillium, to jack in the pulpit and other summer shade flowers. There are a variety of branches so you can tailor the length of your trip to how much time you have, or take multiple loops for a longer walk."

"Perfect hiking spot. We go at least twice a week. It's manageable, sometimes mudd, but fabulous."
