Any recommendations on places to go within the red border? Looking to do a road trip from Sarnia area to wherever and spend the night. Would love to see some hidden gems instead of the obvious places. Any suggestions would be great!

At the very top of your circle is lions head and Tobermory. I absolutely love it up there. Lots of great camping and hiking. https://g.co/kgs/MK5jGL Lion’s Head Lookout Trail Parking (519) 793-3522 Also, Algonquin park is inside that circle I think.

Reviews Summary

Lions Harbour Park is praised for its unique Celtic tree carvings, transformed from tornado-damaged trees, and its beautiful overlook of Goderich Harbour. Visitors appreciate the recent landscaping, new washrooms, and the convenient nearby dining options, making it a pleasant and artistic destination.

"Great park overlooking the Godrich Harbour. This park has been re-landscaped after the last tornado, and is now one of the most unique parks in Ontario. It boasts a beautiful vantage point to view the Harbour. The trees that were destroyed by the tornado have been carved into totems of Celtic characters as the town has a yearly Celtic Festival.
There is also a kids play area and a new washrooms."

"We attended the Celtic Festival in Goderich and were rather disappointed. The music was good but for the price of admission, not so much. There was lots of kitsch to buy, some quality craftspeople hawking their wares. The food wagons were reasonably good with a variety of selections.
Sadly, there were few 'men in kilts', no highlands dancing or bagpipes to serenade us. All in all, a three out of five day."

Alfy R. E. Meyer

"A nice small park with an overview of Lake Huron. There are a number of historic plaques commemoration European history in the area. The pavilion is handy if the skies open up"
