"A lovely spot to take in some views, have a chat and a taste of wine selection.
Lucas served the wines gracefully sharing tidbits of knowledge on wine and winemaking - why the whites dominate, how ice wine is made, and how they lost a crop a few years ago. There were a few options to try out in combinations of three(just do one set if you are driving!).
I happen to prefer red, but I did enjoy their white selection and took a creamy apple liqueur home!"

"This beautiful winery is located in the stunning Annapolis Valley region. What a treat to enjoy their wine tasting and walk around the grounds in historic UNESCO Grand Prix Heritage site. The tastings were $12 with generous pours of the wines produced from grapes unique to the area. We really enjoyed and recommend their L’Acadie for white wine drinkers and their Field Blend for red wine drinkers."

"Great Winery producing top quality Nova Scotian wines.
Particularly their Tidal Bay, NS Brut and Ice wines are very good. The charcuterie board offered with wine tasting is also a gourmet delight.
Overall a great winery to visit, especially for those who enjoy wines on the sweeter end such as Moscato and rislings."

Exploring Nova Scotia's Unique Grape Varietals
Beyond L'Acadie Blanc, the winery also excels in producing ice wine, a sweet dessert wine made from grapes that have frozen on the vine. This process concentrates the sugars and flavors, resulting in a rich, complex wine. Their Tidal Bay appellation wine, a blend of aromatic white grapes, is another highlight, representing the best of Nova Scotia's white wines.
For red wine lovers, their Field Blend offers a taste of the region's red grape potential. Exploring these unique varietals provides a deeper appreciation for the innovation and quality coming from Nova Scotia's burgeoning wine industry.
