What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors often praise the rejuvenating hot springs and beautiful lakeside scenery, finding it a relaxing escape. However, some reviews point to the resort's dated facilities and inconsistent service, suggesting a potential mismatch between cost and experience for some.
"The hotel itself is beautifully quaint and in an amazing location. The hot tubs are very nice. There’s the outdoor and indoor ones and both are lovely and relaxing. The building is close in proximity to shops and restaurants. The hotel offers complimentary tea and cookies from 4-5 which was lovely. All in all the hotel itself is amazing. However we did have a poor experience with the service staff. There was an issue with our room’s washroom which took a few hours to fix which I didn’t think was appropriate as there aren’t other washroom options. It took a few phone calls and trips to the front desk to get it sorted. However this could just be our experience? It appears they are quite short staffed and don’t offer house keeping, not that we’d use it anyway. Some of our friends didn’t have towel or robes in their room??"

"I was super disappointed by the experience at Harrison Hotsprings, especially because this has been a bucket list stay for me for a long time!
The rooms are okay. Bed was comfortable, showers strong, but we didn't get robes in our room and had to go as for them at the front desk. Can't say I've ever stayed at a hot springs that didn't offer robes in the room.
The hot springs are absolutely beautiful, however the adult pool was essentially party City. It was loud, people screaming and cheering, crowded, and just a bunch of people getting drunk. Now I'm not against having fun and letting loose, but this was over the top! I found being in the family pool with the children more relaxing and calm that the adults only pool.
They there was dinner at the Copper Room. Dinner it's self was delicious! Band was awesome! Now the 2.25 hour wait from start to finish, drinks being left empty, wrong drinks being served, and lack of server presence. Totally wrecked the experience.
Overall I would say that the cost to stay at Harrison's Hot springs does not match the experience you get. Same goes for the Copper Room, for over meal over $200 I expect a higher quality of service."

"If you’re looking for a state of the art hotel this isn’t it.
What it is though is clean and cozy, with great access to amenities. All staff members we encountered were pleasant and friendly. Plus HOT SPRINGS!
We attended an agriculture industry conference there and the facility was perfect for our needs. Of particular note was the food services; chefs prepared the food we donated in a way that surpassed our expectations and did justice to the high quality. Wait staff was attentive and professional."
