Reviews Summary

Visitors consistently praise the Dominion Radio Astrophysical Observatory for its fascinating technology and the exceptional knowledge of its guides, particularly Wendell. While interactive elements are limited, the passion and depth of information shared during tours make it a highly rewarding experience for science enthusiasts. Some wish for more hands-on displays to enhance engagement for a broader audience.

"While not a tonne to interact with for kids (or hands adults like me!), the place is super special and really cool technology out there. Interesting history too. Wendell was very knowledgeable and encouraged to talk to us about anything! I will say, with a few more interactive displays, this place could be a major science tourism attraction."

Geoff de Ruiter

"Had a great visit at the observatory, Wendell was very informative and appreciated questions. You can see how passionate he was about astronomy watch me so much more engaging. Definitely worth visiting this world class site."

Reanne Whitehead

"Wendell gave a marathon tour/class about the facility and the subject overall. If he doesn't have his PhD, he should. I expected an hour of feeling overwhelmed and stupid. Instead, I came away with lots of knowledge and a greater sense of awe for the design of our universe and for the Designer. (Note:we didn't talk about religion, that was just a personal take-away.) I don't know what the average duration is....I got there at ten and left just after 1pm. Wendell asked and answered questions in depth the whole time- 3 hours! He must have needed a Fisherman's Friend after that."
