What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
The Kamloops Farmers Market is praised for its impressive variety of local produce, baked goods, and artisan crafts, creating a vibrant community atmosphere often enhanced by live music. However, some visitors note that prices can be quite expensive, and aspiring vendors may find the application process challenging due to competition from established sellers.
"A great Kamloops experience. So many vendors; bakery, preserves, meats, vegetables, ciders, jewelry, clothing and much more. With live music you can stop and browse one of the many vendors tents."

"The majority of the vendors are very kind and have delicious foods. However it's unfortunate to see that the prices of all foods and products are incredibly expensive. Unfortunately your better off going to the grocery store for most things. There was a guy selling 12oz hot sauce for over 35$ for just 1 bottle!! Insane!!!!🤯"

"I gave 1 star because I applied as a vendor. I applied right after the applications opened and then was told almost a month later that my product may not be chosen because there was another similar long-term vendor. I understand that, but also it is clear they pick and choose based on old membership, and that really limits new people's ability to even get into these markets and change the vendors year to year. Also, I still have not received a response, which as a farmer is extremely disrespectful. Farmers count on planting crops way before markets open. If I got an answer, a No is fine, then at least I can reassess and find other options. I found this market odd as well, because they said "has to be made within this map area" but when I visited as a patron they had people from Lillooet. Also products have to be "made, baked or grown by the vendor" this was 100% not the case in the craft section at all, lol. Its a good market as a customer, lots of variety, but not to apply as a vendor if you are new or counting on it."
