"Nice lake, typical of those in the area with some open areas, swampy bits, and lots of dead Mountain Pine Beetle trees. It's on the small side, so the lake-edge trail takes about an hour at a reasonable clip. Conditions vary, including muddy, sandy, rocky, rooty, with a few easy board-bridges and a couple of rougher hills. Not a trail for strollers or flipflops! Heaps of mosquitos. One pit toilet by the parking area."
