What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors appreciate the scenic beauty of Indian Point Provincial Park, especially the colorful trees during fall and the peaceful lake access points. It's a favored spot for cycling due to its pleasant roads and trails. However, many note its non-operating status, meaning a lack of amenities and potentially overgrown, unclear trails, requiring visitors to be well-prepared for a natural, undeveloped experience.
"We went there thinking a park with beach however we could only see a forest with trees on both sides of the road & private properties. If you are going to ride a bicycle then I am sure that will be an amazing experience but if you are in a car then it's just a beautiful road sight with a small beach at the end. But honestly I loved the colorful trees on both sides of the road & then we went balsam lake and that was a happy ending."

"My daughter and I loved riding our tandem bike through Indian Point Provincial Park. It doesn't have amenities, just a few simple paths through 950 hectares of forest, meadows, and wetlands. It has a few very small cleared areas along the shore, but not beaches or campsites. Wear boots, there is a lot of poison ivy."

"The trail wasn't very clear from where we entered. The lake front didn't have a lot of places where we could sit. But beautiful colors in the fall."
