Reviews Summary
Visitors praise the Anne of Green Gables Museum at Silver Bush for its authentic charm and the magical feeling of stepping into L.M. Montgomery's world. Many appreciate the historical insights and the beautiful grounds that inspired the beloved books. Some note that connections to specific book events can feel stretched, but the genuine Victorian history and atmosphere are highly valued.
"A nice place to spend an hour touring the actual house and grounds that inspired so much of Montgomery's works. The gift shops have a number of Green gables inspired keep sakes, and a number of books, one of which we picked up that is an original story reprint. Looks like I have some reading to do!"

"Stepping into Green Gables Heritage Place is like walking straight into Anne’s world 📖✨. The beautifully preserved farmhouse, complete with vintage details, makes you feel the story come alive. Strolling along Lovers’ Lane and the Haunted Woods Trail 🌳 was pure magic—every turn felt like a scene from the book. The staff are warm, knowledgeable, and happy to share fun tidbits about the history. Whether you’re a lifelong Anne fan or just love charming places with a rich past, this is a PEI must-see!"

"You need to bear in mind that Anne of Green Gables is a fictional character and this house is one which was (and still is) owned by the author's family. It's a charming Victorian house and not expensive, and for Anne of Green Gables fans I'm sure it's perfect, but for me it was a bit of a stretch to say things like 'this is the organ used at Anne's wedding '. It might have been used at the author's wedding but it's really milking the very loose connections to the author's books.
Having said that, it's harmless and represents a genuine bit of Victorian history."
