"My friends had invited me for dinner too the Island Stone Pub in Kensington on PEI and I returned the favor a couple of days later.

During both visits I had a great time. Very friendly staff and great service. The food was excellent. On the first night I had a lobster sandwich with fries and smoked Mayo. Delicious! On the second visit I had the beer-battered fish. Very good as well and I can recommend both.

The beer selection is good and has something for everyone.

This is a busy place and reservations are a must.

Will definitely visit again when back on Prince Edward Island."

"We got the vegan curry burrito with tofu and the special of the day, lobster and crab on a crescent roll bun.

Lobster roll special was a hit. The curry burrito was good but it needed a bit more balance of salt and acidity with the heat and creaminess of the curry. With some more salt and more pickled onions/turnips it would be even better.

The area is nice. We sat outside with our dog and the waitress brought her a water bowl. Very friendly service.

Recommend checking out the shop and art gallery just a minute walk away after your meal!"

"Great little pub in Kensington, awesome history of being the old train station. The food awesome and I can’t recommend coming here enough for a fun casual dinner out. We got the cracked sea salt and pepper wings for an appetizer and we were all wanting more once they were gone. For our mains we got the crispy chicken sandwich, fish and chips and the bacon burger. Everyone was thoroughly pleased and we will be back. They have great outdoor seating as well."
