What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors often praise the Kitchener Memorial Auditorium for its electric atmosphere, especially during Kitchener Rangers games, and its convenient highway access. However, some have noted issues with confusing aisle numbering, tight seating, and significant concerns regarding accessibility for individuals with disabilities, particularly concerning parking and the lack of handrails.
"This was my first time watching the Kitchener Rangers at the Kitchener Memorial Auditorium, and it honestly felt like being at an NHL game. The facilities are outstanding — clean, modern, and full of energy. The staff were all so friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere in the arena was absolutely electric. From the moment I walked in to the final buzzer, it was an amazing experience. I can’t wait to come back!"

"We went for a cheerleading event.
Pro:
-Easy to navigate to via highway.
-Plenty of parking.
-Lots of food vending areas to accommodate the masses.
-Plenty of seating for the size of venue.
Cons:
-Confusing aisle numbering. Odd numbers aisle on one side of the arena and even number aisle on the opposite side.
-tight aislways"

"We were absolutely APPALLED at the lack of safety and lack of parking for people with disabilities. My partner has had hip replacements and to find a parking spot wasn't happening. We ended up going to the Mercedes Suite Entrance and the staff there saw our disabled parking pass and said THIS TIME they will allow us to park there. Thank GOD. We got to our area and there were NO HANDRAILS. Row P to get there you had to bend down and grab the seat backs (which some can't do like my partner). We wanted to sit together as a family and not only is it embarrassing to those with less stability, but it is just completely UNSAFE. Other patrons were trying to help but it was ridiculous to many in our area who had to figure it out. Some patrons had to go down the stairs on their BUTTS due to no hand rails! That is NOT okay."
