This was an experience we never expected. My wife and I were roadtipping for our 20th anniversary, heading out to see the whales.
Looking for some good food I stumbled apon this crazy must visit establishment. (So did Elvis)
We do not speak a lick of french, we relied to make a reso but we could only get 6pm and we were not going to make it on time.
So we just showed up at 630.
Downstairs (main entrance) I asked for a ta le for 2. I was told NO. I asked how long... No . Okay so we were about to leave and I said let me just poke my head up.
Lucky me I was able to get the last 2 seats. Not realizing it was dinner,tour and a show.
Well... we ate (very well) open fire stakes and ribs!!! The we had an awsome tour ( all in French) but we laughed when we were told to.
At the end our tour guide gave us an independent coles notes in English.
We were so happy we got a table. It turned out to be a highlight for sure.
