"We booked a boat for 8 people and specifically requested a tube, but when we arrived, no tube was available. It also took about 30 minutes past our start time before we could even get going. Once we finally headed out, the boat had a serious balance issue ; the front tipped high into the air because it was too heavy in the back. Even though everyone was spread out on the boat. We returned to the dock to ask what was happening. A family member of ours, who has extensive boating experience, immediately recognized the problem, which was a lack of maintenance. We were told it was simply “too much weight,” even though we only had 7 average-sized adults on board.
Ultimately, we decided to get a refund. The whole operation felt poorly managed and lacking attention to detail. The radio was held together with duct tape, a wakeboard was left hidden in the boat’s shell that the staff didn’t even know was there, and most of the kids running the rental seemed to be only about 14–16 years old. Instructions on how to operate the boat were very basic and didn’t cover important details like how to safely dock, which could easily explain why people end up charged for damage (thankful we had someone ontop of being able to safety drive a boat). On top of that, the life jackets were outdated, unorganized, and in rough shape.
Overall, I wouldn’t return."

"Ownership needs to rethink its partnership with Dave. Dave appears to have a reputation by his own staff as a no show employee/co-owner who rents out his boat but leaves his staff to scramble to figure out who is going to drive it (as required) for the guests on their confirmed rental, just minutes before your appointment. We went out late and needed to be back for the next booking. Dave is alleged to also be in charge of bookings for his own boat but he was camping at the time of our advanced booking. While our experience turned out to be average on the water, there is clearly is a lack of leadership and organization with this particular company where employees have no clear guidance and policies to function. From my experience, the marina and how it operates, is chaotic and confused. Quite honestly, I’m not sure how this business survives with the competition available. I’m very disappointed after having been referred by a long standing guest of this marina."

"Took every precaution to protect the machines - we stayed in the centre of the lake the entire time to avoid shallow waters, just as instructed. Both jet skis operated perfectly when we returned them. Staff even inspected them and casually mentioned one might have a small stick in the intake but said it’s common and “definitely not a rock”
The next day, I got a call saying a rock “broke the propeller” and they’re keeping the full $1500 damage deposit. When I asked how that’s possible, I was told, “I guess you just had shitty luck”
