Reviews Summary

Visitors consistently praise Lakelse Lake Provincial Park for its beautiful lake, perfect for water sports, and its well-maintained, private campgrounds. The pristine forest trails are also a significant highlight. Occasional minor issues with washroom maintenance are noted, but overall, the park is highly recommended for its natural beauty and recreational opportunities.

"Awesome lake for swimming, boating, kayaking and any other water sports. Can get a bit windy and choppy in the afternoon so if you prefer calmer waters go in the morning."

"Not to many negatives with this place. We spent 6 nights in an unserviced site with no issues. Site was reasonably private, clean and very well treed - the forest here is amazing! Having lived in the area for almost a decade this is my first choice for camping when I return to visit. Staff was friendly and the ice cream shop was a definite plus.
The only two negatives were that on the "gravel side" one of the toilets in the men's washroom was "out of service" (appeared to just need a plunger) the whole time, as was the family shower/washroom which would have been very nice to have with my two boys; left me wondering how hard a plumber is to get?? The other negative was a security guy who kind of reminded me of a school hall monitor, but that wasn't all negative as this is my first recent recollection of not having to deal with someone else's dog running loose."

"We've been on our tour to Prince Rupert and luckily we found this beautiful spot. The trail was fantastic and we have never seen s.th. similar in BC: vegetation not destroyed at all and very few people. Definitely worth a visit. The campground itself very clean and nice lots, hot water for free"
