Is it worth camping there for a weekend for American in summer 2025?

I currently live in Seattle. I’m wondering if it’s worth driving over Friday night after work and camping that night. Spend Saturday exploring fort Langley, museums, and Langley town. Camp the night again and leave Sunday morning.

Fraser River - Langley

Any good winter cabins or nice places to stay for the weekend where we can visit near Vancouver near new years?

Hey guys, I am planning a getaway weekend with my girlfriend for our anniversary. Any good winter cabins or nice places where we can visit near Vancouver. I have a 4x4 truck so I don’t mind driving for 3-4 hours from Vancouver. Just want some cozy time and adventurous place.

"Brae Island Regional Park is a peaceful riverside escape with easy trails, picnic areas, and great views of the Fraser and surrounding mountains. The Tavistock Point Trail is flat and family-friendly, making it a nice option for a short walk or bike ride. The park also connects to Fort Camping, so it’s convenient if you’re staying overnight. On the plus side, it’s close to historic Fort Langley, so you can pair a visit with the village’s shops and cafés. Downsides: the trails are short, so avid hikers may find it limited, and in summer the campground and day-use areas can feel crowded. Facilities are basic but adequate. Overall, it’s a relaxing spot for a picnic, paddle, or stroll by the river."

"A lovely quiet place to stroll in winter. A 2.4km one way trail travels through the forest. In winter you can see through the bushes and trees to look for the birds. There are a few view points looking out at the Fraser River with beaches and log booms. Nice view against the snow capped mountains. We didn't go to the campground so have no comments about that. The washroom was clean!"
