"A beautiful pre-fall lunch on the balcony at the Ivy League Club with cousins from Manotick. Lunch was excellent, lobster rolls, burgers, sweat potato fries & garden salad, a couple of Caesars and a splash of of wine, spectacular!!
Hoping to get back soon."

"The food is is amazing, and the atmosphere is beautiful. It’s an absolutely perfect setting . I’ve been many times and usually have a pretty good experience but I think they could work on their seating. We went for dinner and asked to be seated by the window or on the patio and they said that they were fully booked multiple tables remained open the entire night. I also wish they would allow their upper patio to be dog friendly. We tried to come for breakfast with our dog and although they have an outdoor patio, they don’t allow dogs on it. It doesn’t make a lot of sense as it is outdoors and there is a gate that you could walk in the side of the patio and not walk through the restaurant, we asked if we could sit on the patio with our dog, and they said that we could tie her up outside the patio and sit on the patio and watch her, which was just such a sad suggestion because she’s such a sweet golden."

"Went for dinner here last night; the ambiance is so nice sitting outside watching the boats. Our server was so nice and knowledgeable. We ordered two orders of focaccia with the butter, and the first order came out to us, the bread was stale and hard and had a strange taste; maybe it was an oil that went bad on the bread. The second order came out perfect, warm, soft, and fresh. Paid $8 for each order; food shouldn't come out from the kitchen like that. Our entree was the chicken, and it was delicious. I love a good sauce. It would be nice to normalize getting more than 5 half pieces of fingerling potatoes with a meal, especially when it costs $34 for the entree. I notice that menus are getting small because of the cost of food, but it's getting ridiculous when we work so hard at our jobs for a nice night out and are charged so much. We are eating out less now because of this. We enjoyed walking around the property after dinner and taking in the water views."
