Parc Omega: Thoughts and Experiences?
My friend and I were looking at going to this place. It's a bit of a drive, and kind of pricey ($24)...Has anyone been there? Is it worth the time/price, even in winter? Any better alternatives around?
Parc Omega
Going there tomorrow for the first time, has anyone else been there? Are there any other worthwhile activities to do? Any good restaurants close by? Thanks! [http://parcomega.ca/en/](http://parcomega.ca/en/)

The park is lauded for being well-maintained, educational, and a perfect day trip from major cities, with unique overnight stays being a significant highlight. "Parc Omega is truly one of the best wildlife safari parks in Quebec, Canada! From the moment we entered, it felt like stepping into a magical outdoor adventure surrounded by breathtaking nature and amazing animals.
We drove through the wildlife safari trail and saw elk, bison, wolves, bears, and even arctic foxes up close—all in their natural habitat. The highlight for me was feeding the friendly deer and elk carrots right from the car window (don’t forget to bring a bag of carrots with you!).
The park is very well-maintained, clean, and family-friendly. There are picnic spots, hiking trails, and even a wolf and bear observatory for those who want to explore on foot. The Parc Omega accommodations looked incredible too—staying overnight in a log cabin or glass dome with wildlife right outside must be such a unique experience.
What I love most is that the park balances fun with education, teaching visitors about Canadian wildlife, nature conservation, and Indigenous history. It’s a perfect day trip from Ottawa, Montreal, or Gatineau and a must-visit for anyone looking for a Canadian wildlife experience.
If you’re searching for a wildlife safari near Ottawa or Montreal, Parc Omega is the ultimate destination. Great for families, couples, photographers, and anyone who loves animals and nature. I can’t wait to come back in a different season to see how the landscapes and animals change!"

"We stayed at the wolf cabin with the enclosed viewing of the wolves. Great experience for the kids. Lots of activities to do also. The trail was amazing. Lots of animals to see roaming freely. Some kept behind fences for safety reasons. Overall the kids loved feeding the animals.
There was also 2 sections where you can park and exit to either hike, enjoy the scenery, or feed the deer.
Would recommend to visit 100%"

The drive-through safari was so much fun, and we really enjoyed feeding the animals and learning about Canadian wildlife. The walking trails and picnic areas were also lovely and peaceful.
