Reviews Summary

Visitors praise La Grande Roue de Montréal for its comfortable, air-conditioned cabins and stunning panoramic views of the city and river, especially at night. The VIP experience is highlighted as romantic and memorable. However, some find the ticket price a bit high for the duration of the ride.

"We visited the Ferris wheel on a hot summer day, and I was very impressed that the cabins had air conditioning. This was a big plus, as we thought it would be stuffy inside, but instead it was cozy and comfortable. Each cabin can fit up to eight people, making it a perfect activity for families, especially if you’ve already explored the main attractions and want to see Montreal from a bird’s-eye view.

The beauty of the city is hard to describe in words, but from the wheel you can enjoy it in comfort and safety. The ticket includes three rotations, air conditioning, and a stunning view.

The price felt a bit high, but for the comfort and convenience it’s worth it, and there are student discounts available.

Would I come back? Absolutely — it’s a wonderful way to admire Montreal again.

Pros: comfort, cleanliness, convenience.
Cons: the price is a little high."

Real Reviews

"We loved our ride on La Grande Roue in Old Montreal this weekend. The cabins are air conditioned, have blue tooth (remember to hook up your music throughout your ride) and very clean. We felt that we had enough rotations to make it worth the price of admission and we were lucky it was a quiet day we had the cabin to ourselves.

You can ride during the day or at night and they do have student pricing available. The views from the top were lovely and the entire ride was relaxing."

Pippa Girling

"A good attraction. Slightly expensive i believe. Should be 5 to 10 dollars cheaper than current price or a longer trip. We got 3 full revolutions. It was a great view of the skyline in the evening. It looked great. Will definitely bring family again."
