What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors consistently praise the Saskatchewan Burrowing Owl Interpretive Centre for its educational value and the heartwarming experience of seeing burrowing owls up close. The friendly staff and the exceptionally sweet Irish Wolfhound are frequent highlights, making it a delightful stop for all ages. While it's a small centre, its conservation mission and the personal touch make it a memorable and worthwhile visit.
"This is a cute, very educational way to spend an hour. The burrowing owls are easy to find, yet the buildings they are kept in are large and give them a lot of freedom. The employees are friendly and will walk you through or let you explore on your own, and there is also a huge Irish Wolfhound who is one of the sweetest dogs I've ever met. Kids will love her! There is also a gazebo, huge enclosure for a short-eared owl (Shorty), and a small building with exhibits and informational displays.
I love this little place and hope more people are able to stop by and share the word about these endangered creatures."
