McIntyre Bluff a lovely hike on what was a great weekend. nʕaylintn (pronounced nye-lin-tin) is the traditional nsyilxcen (Okanagan) language place name. First Nations in the area tell a story of a battle centuries ago on top of McIntyre Bluff. An enemy war party from the south (now Washington state) was lured to the top and driven over the cliffs. Reviews Summary

Visitors consistently praise the stunning panoramic views from the summit of nʕaylintn (McIntyre Bluff), calling the hike rewarding despite the exposed and hot conditions. The unique starting point at Covert Farms and the opportunity for off-leash dog walking are also highlights. Some find the trail challenging due to the heat and lack of shade, emphasizing the need for ample water.

"Nice hike. We only did half due to the rain and our tired dog. We hardly saw any other people when we were there (early Oct), which was great since we could have our dog off leash for a bit and he loved it. The lake was as far as we made it and it was well worth it. We're looking forward to doing the whole loop next time."

Talia Markos

"I really enjoyed 3 hours hiking. Awesome view from the top. Highly recommend if you want to hiking.
※Be careful the cactus※"

신명진

"Great hike. 2-3 hours depending on your ability and fitness level from Covert Farms. Park there and enjoy a nice glass of wine at the end of your hike.

The hike offers some nice views of the surrounding hillsides, but the real treat is at the top. Bring plenty of water in the summer time. The trail is rocky, dusty and hot."
