"Stunning Ride at Myra Canyon

I had an amazing bike ride at Myra Canyon today. Even though the weather was foggy and mysterious, it actually made the whole experience feel magical. The clouds were hanging low between the cliffs, and riding through the mist gave the trail a really calm, peaceful atmosphere.

The path itself was a mix of packed gravel with some wet patches and scattered branches from recent weather, but still very rideable on a mountain bike. The narrow sections between the rock walls were especially beautiful — the fog rolling through the trees made it look like something from a movie.

The trestle bridges were incredible as always. Coming up to them in the thick fog was unforgettable — the bridge just disappeared into the white, and it felt like riding into another world. My bike handled the surface well, even though the boards were a bit damp, so just take it slow.

Overall, even with low visibility, the canyon has its own unique charm in this kind of weather. Highly recommend the ride — whether sunny or foggy, Myra Canyon never disappoints. Perfect place for a peaceful adventure in nature."

"We bike a lot and this is one of the best bike trails we've ever done. Very scenic, mostly flat - easy for kids too. Would recommend doing this in fall - look at the colours and no crowds. There is a bike rental at the parking lot - not sure about the hours of operation. It's in a little higher altitude so get dressed for the weather (last time in Kelowna was 20 Celsius and up there only 14). Loved it! Biked on Oct 7, 2025"

Veronika Eliasova

"This trail is the most beautiful location I’ve ever biked (and I’ve done many!). The path is very well taken care of, making it accessible to all levels and the landscape is gorgeous. We went in October and the weather was perfect! It was 2C yet there were some paths covered in soft ice. It felt like a mix of all seasons in one a piece of heaven!"
