"Nelson's Canine Paradise
This park is a dog's dream come true. It's like a canine playground, with endless trails to explore and plenty of furry friends to make. The beaches are stunning, the bridge is a great photo op, and the nature is breathtaking. It's the perfect place to relax, unwind, and enjoy the beauty of Nelson. Just be warned: your dog might never want to leave."

"Spectacular off leash lakeside walk! Runs the full length of Nelson airport runway. One can stay on the path or let Fido access the lake via multiple beach entries, humans have benches to sit on too. Lots of tree shade & garbage cans every 150 paces so there’s really no excuse, pick up the poo!!!! Only thing lacking is washroom for humans."

"As basically the only official off-leash dog park in Nelson (the Rail Trail is unofficial as far as I know), we went here twice a day on our holiday. A few beaches for access to swimming. We spent our last day as a beach day here because no other beaches allow dogs. Took our chairs, paddle board and had a fun afternoon there."
