What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Hume Park is widely praised as a wonderful community space, especially for families, with its excellent splash park and playgrounds. Visitors appreciate the ample green space, shaded areas, and dog-friendly amenities. While parking can be challenging on busy days and some dog owners need to be mindful of leash rules, the overall experience is overwhelmingly positive.
"Great place for kids, ok number of park spots, you can park in some different streets within walking distance. The water park is cool for kids, and the water is super cold(as usual in all water parks in BC). The kids park is cool too, there is a dog area, just be aware some people leave the dog off leash out of the dogs, so pay attention to it."

"Its an awesome park. There are two parks like one is lower Hume park and the other with children playground and spray park is upper hume. Lower one has a gazibo and big area for outdoor celebrations or get togethers, there is no marked parking. Both the parks are in continuation only. Children’s play area is nice with big slides and swings, see saw. There is a big playground and tennis courts also. There is marked parking in upper one. Water spray park is not that big but sufficient for the enjoyment on a hot sunny day. So many benches and seating spots are available. Its a nice picnic area i would say, you can enjoy with your family n loved ones here. One can easily spend 2 or 3 hours here with their children."
