Reviews Summary

Visitors consistently praise Niagara-on-the-Lake for its undeniable charm, picturesque historic streets, and delightful boutiques. Many enjoy the relaxed pace, the beautiful scenery, and the opportunity to explore local shops and cafes. However, some note that parking can be difficult during peak times and that the town becomes very quiet after 9 PM, with limited evening entertainment options.

"Cute town, need to park really far. Not much to see though, spent maybe 1h for ice cream and walking around. Probably nicer to plan a lunch or brunch here.

Parking around the main streets are packed and paid. If you parked further, there’s plenty of street parking in the residential area. I had to park a good 5 blocks away though, specially if you went midday."

Michael Chen

"Adorable and quaint town with plenty of little shops. I loved strolling the streets, stopping for a bite to eat, shopping the specialty stores and sitting in the park to enjoy the scenery. It’s a must visit."

Bill Festa

"The town has its old world charms and history. I would give it a five star if there were some sort of entertainment and/or things to do at night. It seems very quiet after 9pm. This town really needs to attract more people into the town for more business which should help more local businesses to survive since Realestate and rent are one of the highest in the region. It would be awesome if the Main Street can be closed off and turn it into a walking street filled with vendors and venues during the summer months which will increase revenues and taxes for the city!
Hopefully someone from NOTL officials and business improvement association are reading this for ideas! I would love to share more ideas and input for the town if needed!"
