"House of late Stephen Leacock, a renowned English-born Canadian humorist, writer, and political scientist. Great place to visit.
Boathouse on the property is also nice place to see."

"We came not knowing anything about Stephen Leacock or about this house. We were just visiting the area and thought we'd drop in. The staff was friendly. The history about Stephen Leacock was fascinating. We could see the effort that was put into beautifully retelling the story of this man. Recalling history and celebrating the beauty of his work is worthwhile. I was just super disappointed to see modern cultural touches that were added to this house. It made the experience less about history and more about politics. Specifically, a prominent rainbow flag at the entrance as well as all the gender symbols on the bathroom door. At this historic site we're celebrating Stephen Leacock, not pride. Of course everyone is welcome! Of course the bathroom is for everyone. Just a sign with a picture is enough. Modern touches to a beautiful historic site are the one thing that made me wonder what the point of it really is?"
