Pemberton Area
I'm attending a wedding this week in Pemberton. What's a good easy hike to do in the AM? Thinking 1 to 2 hours. I'll potentially have a late night of dancing and some drinking the previous night so nothing too crazy Lol. Thanks in advance.

Reviews Summary
One Mile Lake Park is a picturesque and tranquil spot in Pemberton, praised for its scenic mountain-backed lake views and calm waters ideal for paddleboarding. Visitors appreciate the easy lakeside walking path and its dog-friendly nature. However, parking can be challenging during busy periods, and mosquitoes can be a nuisance on the trails.
"One Mile Lake in Pemberton is a charming spot for those looking to enjoy nature and some peaceful outdoor activities. The views around the lake are quite scenic, with lovely mountains in the backdrop and tranquil water creating a relaxing atmosphere. While it’s not a vast area, there are a few places to sit and enjoy the view, making it a nice stop for a picnic or a quiet break.
However, parking can be a bit of a challenge. There are limited spots, and during peak times or weekends, you might have to wait or walk a bit if you don’t arrive early. Despite this, the lake is a popular spot for paddleboarding, with calm waters that make it perfect for beginners or anyone looking to have a leisurely paddle. You’ll often see people out on the water, enjoying the serenity.
One thing to note is that the lake isn’t considered safe for swimming. There are no lifeguards, and the water conditions can be unpredictable, so it’s best to stick to paddling or staying onshore.
Overall, One Mile Lake is a decent spot for outdoor activities if you’re in the Pemberton area, but it’s more suited for paddlers or those wanting a quiet place to relax rather than swimmers."

Less than 30 mins to walk around the lake. Nice and easy walk for exercise in the morning."

"Beautiful park with a place for swimming and a small playground. We elected to hike up towards the falls without bug spray and that was a mistake. Once we left the lake area the mosquitoes were atrocious. Make sure you spray for mosquitoes. Otherwise walking around the lake was uneventful and saw no bugs there. The path goes all the way around the lake."
