"Park in visitors’ stalls by the townhouses and take a short hike up the trail in Spencer Park. The trestle is still in a pretty good condition and very safe to walk on. Be mindful of the gaps but other than that it’s a sweet spot to visit. Came here today around noon on a long weekend so I was the only one there."

"I love walking on and under it. Great nature surrounding you at every step."

"Walked across this trestle in the 1970s as a child under 10. It was exciting to dare your friends to walk across it. At that time you also needed to be aware of when the train would come by and scramble off the trestle. We would walk from Virginia Road, through the cut and towards the trestle. Sometimes we’d flatten pennies and then collect them once the train had passed. It was fun!"
