"Had parked at lot beside Macaulay Heritage Park (church/house) and walked about 15m to see Birdhouse City. There is a pond and we did a small hike around that. Very well-maintained and lots of dog walkers. Will go back to explore more!"
Jen Hodge
"This was such a beautiful place with several trails to hike. The main trail took us about an hour and a half to complete and it was fairly easy. You do have to watch out for a steep hill you need to go up at the beginning but after that, you’ll come across such beautiful forests. Parking is $5 paid online and when we went, there weren’t that many people. Perfect place to go on a peaceful hike."
Hannah Hernandez
"Very scenic and enjoyable ! The Macaulay Mountain Conservation Area sports around 20 square acres of forest and trail. Its very easy to navigate as there is a clear path through it. There are several "resting spots" with benches . Strongly recommend a visit, and its right beside town!"
