What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise Prince Edward Point National Wildlife Area for its exceptional birdwatching opportunities and scenic beauty, particularly the lighthouse trail along Lake Ontario. The knowledgeable staff at the bird observatory and the unique experience of bird banding are frequently highlighted as positives. However, some find the restroom facilities to be inadequate, and visiting during off-peak hours or afternoons might result in less activity.
"I signed up for the Starry Nights with Saw-Whets. Our host were very knowledgeable. I learned a lot about the Saw-whets. It was great seeing how they band the birds and collect data about the birds. It was like a gender reavel when they brought the owl to determine the sex and age of the Owls. Bonus was you can adopt an owl and name them. I adopted two for my grandchildren. It will be a great gift for Christmas."

"The bird banding is only in the morning, and I visited in the afternoon, so there wasnโt much activity and no migration flocks. The place is quiet and pleasant, but overall not very eventful during my visit."
