"Travelled from Prince Rupert to Jasper on the Skeena train. We had the fantastic Alain as our host on the train, who worked hard ensuring everyone was happy and informed. Very witty and entertaining. The bubble viewing car was great."

"The rail trip from here to Jasper is filled with amazing scenery and is one of the great rail journeys. Ok sure it’s not always on time but no one who catches this trains in a rush. Our one staff member was fantastic and was a jack of all trades. The food on board is not fantastic so buy ahead for your lunch and nibbles but coffee, beer and wines are available. So affordable in comparison to the rocky."
Peter Weaving
"The train station for Prince Rupert city, in the north west of the province of British Columbia, was right next to the ferry terminal on the waterfront. We did a train trip by Canada's VIA Rail from Vancouver to Prince Rupert, changing trains at Jasper, in July 2019. The train arrived at Prince Rupert just before midnight, late by about 4 hours. The train crew helped us get a shared taxi to take us to our hotel in town from the Visitor's Center."
