"this is good location to see the aurora. day use area has a car park. the lake freezes over so you can walk out and get a nice picture. be careful though and there can be alot of tourists who can park in front of you or running around...my advice just be patient and they are a great aurora locator as they all get excited if they see one helped me get some good shots"
