What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors consistently praise Battlefields Park for its immense historical significance, particularly the Plains of Abraham, and its beautiful, expansive green spaces. Many appreciate the well-maintained trails for walking and recreation, as well as the serene gardens. Some note that winter conditions can be challenging due to cold and slippery surfaces.
"Dec2024 The whole Battlefields Park which encompasses not only one of the largest accessible green spaces in the city but also is geographically connected to a number of military installations and monuments takes on a sombre and profound aspect when covered beneath a blanket of snow. Truly beautiful and also keenly stark. Be prepared and careful crossing the frigid and slippery landscape during winter."

"This was my first visit here... It's absolutely amazing..
The walking trails are gorgeous.. clean..
With detailed information about nature, plants, flowers ,trees
With bike trails , with marked areas
And tons of beautiful flowers 💐...
Plus so much more"

"Wonderful walk through history - but has great hiking and walking trails through the woods as well. Nice pavilions and fountains. This is where the Battle of the Plains of Abraham took place and the British took over Quebec from the French in the 1750's. The trails here lead down to the Citadel and old Wall in Old Quebec city. Wonderful green space - and make sure you check out the museum at the end of the park!"
