What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise Hamilton Marsh for its beautiful natural scenery and rich wildlife, calling it a stunning spot for nature lovers. However, many note that trail maintenance can be poor, with some paths being very muddy and overgrown, requiring careful navigation. The floating dock is also mentioned as being in disrepair.
"The marsh is beautiful, however one of the trails is not well kept and require some bushwacking and dead fall dodging. It is a fairly short walk (10 minutes round trip from Westernmost entrance. Was hoping for a trail around the marsh, but it's more or less just in and out. If you're going to see the marsh, 5 stars, if you want a nice walk, 1 star."

"Beautiful spot to go walk with the whole family. Other than the garbage where I parked my car the trail was pristine. Now be careful because I saw a large cougar just off the trail there a few nights ago, I would have taken a picture but I was to busy pooping in my pants. I went right at dusk so my advice would be to go earlier."
Dave Duncan
"If you go right at the fork on the way in, the trail is maintained and not so muddy. If you dont want a challenging, muddy walk back from the dock then go back the way you came. Otherwise, just be ready for lots of mud and balancing on logs (which is kind of fun)."
