Reviews Summary
Discovery Canyon is a highly recommended family-friendly spot offering a unique lazy river experience at an affordable price. Visitors praise the attentive staff, clean facilities, and the overall fun atmosphere. Some mention the water can be chilly and it gets busy, but the value and enjoyment make it a worthwhile visit.
"We went here as a family with three children. The location is ideal for spending an enjoyable day with children. Everyone has to buy a swimming float for $7, but it's fine if you already have one. The staff is extremely friendly and caring with children; every 1 meter, you will see one of the staff members in the lazy river assisting children or the flow. We only spent about 2 hours before the kids grew tired. I highly recommend this location."

"We’re enjoying this spot just a few hours from Edmonton, Canada. Entrance is free, you can bring your own tube and have fun, or rent one there. There are people making sure kids and adults stay safe. The water’s a bit cold, but super refreshing."

"Fun place to take yourself and the family for the day. The day we went was extremely busy but the boys didn't mind and had a blast.. there is a sandy little beach area for people to play at and lots of grassy areas to sit and enjoy. Sitting on the side of the hill was tricky but we were able to move later. Lots of shade and picnic areas surrounding at a higher level. The tube rental wristband is only $7/ person and you can use their tubes. You can bring your own but be sure to check their website on size restrictions first. There is a concession stand with things to eat and drink and a public washroom nearby. Super clean and super fun place to go just on the outskirts of the city."
