Reviews Summary
Times Square Richmond Hill is a bustling plaza with a strong culinary focus, particularly on Asian cuisine like hot pot and BBQ. While some businesses have changed since the pandemic, it remains a convenient spot with underground parking and a footbridge, offering a taste of the vibrant 'Little Guyana' community. Visitors appreciate the diverse food options and the unique offerings at places like Sugar Cafe & Lounge.
"I haven't visited Time Square since the 2020 pandemic lockdown. I used to visit this shopping mall at least once a week. Many shops have changed business and owners. Yesterday, during my visit, business was rather slow, maybe it's a rainy day. I found many new restaurants, to my surprise, mostly are Hot Pot and BBQ stores. This is a place that you can find most of the things I want. Finally, I have a wonderful lunch and bought roast pork & buns during my visit . I like their underground parking , also the foot bridge for you to walk to the Building B. Happy to see that some of the old stores have survived from the pandemic. A place that full of fond memories !"

"The last time we visited Time Square was before the pandemic. Now, the place is not the same as some stores have closed, including the once popular restaurant inside the mall. It's a bit sad to see the impact of the pandemic on this part of town in Toronto. Hopefully, the economic conditions will become more vibrant soon."

"Being Asian, I have a lot of friends who like to visit this place, especially in the older folks. Honestly, I used to dislike this place because a lot of so called fobs would frequent this plaza. However, it seem the stigma is less of an impact now. Think wish they would make this location much more cool again for the younger generation, as well as the hip crowd. I make it a point to visit here a couple of time a month to help out the local stores here because, it's always sad to see restaurants and local retailers close their doors because of the high rental costs and lack of hungry and loyal customers."
