The historic, cozy ambiance and friendly staff contribute to a memorable dining experience. However, some visitors have noted slow service during peak times and that bread/sides may not be included with meals.
"I checked in at the days Inn across the street after driving all day asked about restaurant s. The pleasant young lady suggested saint Pierre. I took her advice and was very happy I did. The staff at the door were very nice and when I spoke English they had no problem with replying in English, they sat me down and Etienne (I hope I spelt that right) was very accommodating made a point of stopping and talking to me. I felt very much at home. Great people great food how could you ask for more. Thanks again guys"

"Excellent fine dining experience. An old home converted into a restaurant. The dining areas are well decorated. We ate upstairs in a private room. The service was very well done: they were very attentive to our drink orders, and answered all our menu questions. I ordered the Caesar Salad, and the Risotto aux Crevettes et Petoncles Geants ( Shrimp and Scallops). Both had great flavors, colors, and presentation. I was unsure if the risotto was a little over-cooked, as it came across as "mushy". But the flavor was great, so I didn't discount the quality in the review. Similarly, I ordered the Carrot Cake for dessert. I didn't taste much carrot. But the cake was amazing, and worth eating every crumb. Definitely a great restaurant, with wonderful food!"

"Waited for 10 min in the vestibule before someone came by. Waited another 10 min before someone came to bring us menus. Waited ANOTHER 10 min for someone to take our drinks order. Was nearly an hour total time before our food arrived.
No bread or sides included in most meals. I ordered rissoto. It was crunchy.
No one came to check on us.
The staff were nice about it when they finally showed up: no questions asked, full refund. Not sure if they were short staffed but we did not have a great experience.
For the price they are commanding, our experience was poor, regardless of the botched dinner."
