This is hands down one of the most picturesque views in all of Washington. And it was a bucket list place for over five years before crossing it off this past fall. A wonderful evening, in the company of a fine, fine cast, for a performance of The Weir at The Harold Pinter Theatre in London. Conor McPherson directs his own play, which has become a classic in his own lifetime. The cast were amazing, with perfomances that hook you in & bring the audience along for the journey. And what a cast, Owen McDonnell, Sean McGinley, Tom Vaughn-Lawlor & Kate Phillips. V...

"beautiful place to enjoy the river & nature. lots of birds to see - geese & pelicans. walking across the bridge is scenic, and if you're lucky, a train will cross the bridge too!"

Kiersten

"I lived in Saskatoon long enough to do a walk along both sides of the river from downtown to the CPR Bridge. Along the way you pass a weir, intended to smooth out the river and make it safe for boating in the downtown area. It looks like a gentle waterfall. Free parking is nearby if you just want to look at the weir. You can get additional views from the bridge and the opposite side of the river."
