Reviews Summary

Saint Patrick's Church Sherbrooke is highly praised for its welcoming atmosphere and the spiritual leadership of Father Doyon. Visitors feel an immediate sense of 'home' and are moved by the devotion and inclusive nature of the congregation, which draws from diverse nationalities. While primarily a place of worship, its spiritual significance and community spirit are consistently highlighted.

"I visited Saint Patrick's Church last Sunday. Our parish is St Thomas Aquinas in Compton, but last Sunday we wanted to visit a new church. We were hesitating between St Patrick's and St Benoit du Lac. I had decided on St Benoit du Lac because I have a friend who is discerning monastic life there, and I thought it would be nice to bump into him. But call it synchronicity or divine intervention, my daughter found a medal of St Patrick in the basement 30 minutes before it was time to leave and gave it to me. Needless to say, when the Lord gives you a sign, you listen!
As I walked into the church, it immediately felt like home, a feeling I often get when entering a Catholic church. But what made it extra special was seeing and hearing the parish priest on his knees praying the Chaplet of Divine Mercy before the True Presence of Our Lord.
At a time when I feel like true devotion, reverence and leadership are fading from the Church, I can't tell you how encouraging that was for me and my wife.
Both my children were very excited to see the Divine Mercy image in the church, as they have the same one in their bedroom.
I will be praying for your parish, and we will no doubt visit again soon."
