What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors appreciate the St. Catharines Farmers Market for its vibrant community atmosphere and the opportunity to support local businesses and artisans. While the fresh produce is a highlight, many enjoy discovering unique crafts and handmade items. However, some find parking to be a hassle and prices less competitive than other regional markets.
"I came here because I wanted to check out the local vendors - Needless to say, I got a couple goodies that I will definitely be enjoying. The building inside is very clean, maintained well, and it’s a decently sized building with a variety of different businesses inside!
I half expected there to be more food related vendors. There were a lot of vendors here selling jewelry, crystals, clothing, and custom made items. Regardless, this is a perfect place to find unique gems and to support small and local businesses!
There is parking available on location, you might need to pay for parking depending on the day, but there’s a decent amount of parking beside and behind the building plus street parking (if you can find it). The parking lot is tidy and maintained.
Overall, great place to check out! Would go again to see what new things are going on and are on display!"

"Hot food in this market can be pretty good. The facility is really nice. Some of the vendors are not even selling "Farm stuff." Paid parking lot and paid street parking. Parking can be very limited. Prices are not competitive. Markets in other cities in Niagara are much better."
