"The Saturday market is a compelling reason to buy locally. Perth County is the Pork Capital of the world, demonstrated by great shops and bargain prices. In summer the local fruit and vegetables are unsurpassed. There is a tiny but terrific seafood stall. Honey, maple syrup, fresh bread and on and on. There is even a quick breakfast sold by a couple of guys who serve bacon and sausage on a bun - and coffee is at hand. It is my first stop every Saturday morning!"
