Reviews Summary

Visitors consistently praise Surrey Bend Regional Park as a beautiful, relaxing, and well-maintained natural escape. Its spacious picnic areas, clean facilities, and accessible trails make it a favorite for families and dog owners alike. While it's a hidden gem, some may find the lack of on-site amenities a drawback.

"A group of us came for a Potluck Picnic In The Park, and we had a great time. We rented the Yellow Warbler Covered Picnic Tables ( first one on the far left of the Parking Lot )

Some of the people went for a walk around the area, and were pleased with the area and looking at the Mighty Fraser River as well.

Washrooms were like a Camping style Washroom but we're clean and stocked well with TP lol.

The Park has a lot of area to walk around in, and there's also a play area for kids also.

We were so pleased with the area, and Covered Picnic Tables that will be definitely holding another get together there in the future. And I noticed that it seemed that the Park people even swept the Concrete before we arrived. And they also stopped by, and asked if we had any garbage we wanted to get rid of at the time.

Great hidden area close by that many people don't even know about..."

The park is thoughtfully designed with plenty of benches and picnic areas, so it’s easy to find a comfortable spot to sit back and enjoy the natural surroundings. Whether you’re visiting with family, friends, or just on your own, it offers a peaceful environment for everyone.

The amenities here are also quite convenient. You’ll find clean washrooms, water taps, and even a mist shower that’s especially refreshing on warm summer days. These small touches make a big difference in creating a comfortable and enjoyable visit.

One of the unique features of Surrey Bend is its connection to Barnston Island. The ferry that takes you across departs from here, adding an extra element of adventure for those who want to extend their outing and explore even more of the area.

Overall, Surrey Bend is an excellent spot for picnics, leisurely walks, or simply spending time outdoors surrounded by greenery and water views. It’s a hidden gem in Surrey that’s worth visiting more than once."

"The scenery is stunning — from dense forests to beautiful riverside views, every corner of this park feels serene and refreshing.

There are plenty of spots to sit and relax, have a picnic, or just enjoy the sound of birds and flowing water. It’s also very family-friendly, with open areas for kids to run around and clean washroom facilities.

What I love most is how quiet and calm it is — not overly crowded like some other parks. It’s the perfect place to recharge mentally and physically."
