Reviews Summary

Visitors consistently praise Cascades Conservation Area as a beautiful and accessible natural escape close to the city. The well-maintained trails, stunning cascades, and opportunities for swimming and exploration are major highlights. Some note that the rocky terrain requires careful footing, and parking can be busy during peak times.

"We LOVED this hike! The way the trail is laid out you can make it nice and long, or you can walk directly to the cascades along the most direct route possible. It was a ton of fun to climb along the rocky riverbed. It was a beautiful day, so there were quite a few groups of people there in swimming suits playing in the water, which looked refreshing! Little kids would need heavy supervision, dogs seemed to be having fun, the casecades portion is probably not easy for people with ankle issues."

Kathleen Watkinson

"What a great spot this is. The trails are amazing and well groomed. We always love this for either a long hike or short one."
