"Love this park!! Summer, fall, winter, spring: it's an urban oasis that offers real cross-country skiing (ok, when conditions are right, that is - and only about a 5 k loop), only 15 minutes from downtown. The salmon run in the fall is a sublime rite of nature, and the spring and summer offer pleasant biking along the banks of the Humber. This park can transport you right out of the Big Smoke in a hurry, and still get you back on the road for rush hour. Awesome!"

"My girlfriend and I had the best time at Etienne Brulé Park by Old Mills in Toronto on Sunday, July 7, 2024. The weather was perfect, with warm sunshine adding to the charm of this beautiful park.

The park is situated along the Humber River, which features several weirs that create soothing and picturesque views. The scenery is absolutely stunning, with lush green trees, the serene Humber River, and the cascading weirs and waterfalls. The park offers a perfect blend of nature and tranquility, making it an ideal spot for a relaxing walk or a peaceful day out.

The well-maintained walking paths and the calming sound of the flowing water over the weirs made our 3km walk easy. We enjoyed the sight of ducks and geese leisurely swimming and resting by the river, adding to the park’s natural beauty. There are plenty of seating areas to sit and enjoy the surroundings, as well as open green spaces perfect for a picnic or just lounging in the sun.

The park is pretty expansive, stretching along the Humber River from the Old Mill to the Baby Point neighborhood, and includes a baseball diamond, rugged basketball court, multiple hiking and biking trails, and numerous picnic spots. We didn’t even get to walk the whole park because it’s so huge, so we’ll have to finish exploring it another day

Overall, the park was really clean and well-maintained, which made our visit even better.. The mix of natural beauty and well-designed pathways makes Etienne Brulé Park a must-visit spot for anyone looking to escape the hustle and bustle of the city and connect with nature."
