Reviews Summary
Exhibition Place is a dynamic hub offering a wide range of events, from the beloved CNE fair to major concerts and diverse exhibitions. Visitors praise the variety of activities and the vibrant atmosphere, especially during summer. However, some find food prices high and crowds overwhelming during peak times like the CNE.
"Had free passes from the soccer game. Lines were not too bad early, got busier as the day went on. Food building had lots of options and of course the 1.99 spaghetti! We took the train down, easy access right from the GO. Would definitely go back. They have refillable water stations around the grounds, bottles water was 5.80 up to over 7.00 so I would recommend packing some!"

"Went for CNE. much more spread out this year with noticeable vendors missing. Less sampling and prices used to start at $10 and continues to climb. Addition of banshell performances was nice. We miss all the buildings and things for kids to do that weren't rides. Grounds were pretty well kept."

"Had such a wonderful stroll through the iconic Princes’ Gates at Exhibition Place! This majestic Beaux‑Arts archway—completed in 1927 and spanning about 45 m wide and 20 m deep—makes for a breathtaking gateway to the CNE and the waterfront .
👍 What I Loved:
• Stunning architecture: The triumphal arch and fluted colonnades are beautifully crafted, topped with symbolic sculptures—a classic Toronto landmark .
• Vibrant ambiance: Great atmosphere during events like the Canadian National Exhibition—crowds, flags, and lively energy. Even on quieter days, it’s a perfect spot for photos or a relaxing walk .
• Convenient location: Easy to reach via Lakeshore and Strachan, just steps from the waterfront, TTC, and GO transit—parking nearby too.
🚶 Ideal For:
• Tourists looking to snap a classic Toronto moment
• Locals wanting a scenic walk or backdrop for photos
• Visitors attending fairs, races, or exhibits through the gates
✨ Pro Tips:
• Head there during non-peak hours for peaceful photos
• Snap a picture framed by the arch, especially with the lake or skyline behind
Overall: A spectacular landmark that adds grandeur and history to Toronto’s lakeside. Whether you’re visiting for an event or simply passing by, it’s a must-see gateway that never disappoints."
