The house, built in 1851 by David Gibson, a Scottish immigrant, land surveyor, and key figure in the Upper Canada Rebellion is beautifully maintained. Her passion, deep historical knowledge, and the way she shared insights about the house and broader historical context made the visit truly unforgettable.
