Built in the 1830s Montgomery's Inn, home of the Irish Montgomery family, was also a home away from home for several Market Gardening families, including Chinese Market Gardeners, from 1922 to 1945.
Rich in history and mystery. Strange sounds have been heard I'm told, but have not heard.
Small garden out in the front. Clay oven in the back. Farmers market at certain days.
Free limited parking.
Free to visit. Thank you Toronto for doing so."

"A FREE charming glimpse into Toronto’s past! Montgomery’s Inn is beautifully preserved, everything from the rooms to the furnishings feels like stepping back in time. The weekly farmers' market on Wednesdays is a highlight, and on those days, the staff also demonstrate how the historic kitchen used to operate, even cooking up something small to showcase it. The team is knowledgeable and friendly, making the whole experience both fun and educational. A hidden gem in Etobicoke (and in Toronto, generally speaking) highly recommend for history buffs and families alike!"
