Reviews Summary
Woodbine Beach is a beloved Toronto gem, praised for its expansive sandy shores, vibrant summer atmosphere, and accessible location. Visitors appreciate the availability of water sports rentals and the lively beach volleyball scene. However, some note the rocky entry into the water and the potential for crowds during peak times.
"Beautiful beach in the city!
Woodbine Beach is one of my favorite spots in Toronto — a perfect mix of relaxation and activity. The sand is clean, the boardwalk is great for walking or biking, and there are plenty of volleyball courts and green spaces to enjoy. The lifeguards and facilities make it feel safe and family-friendly.
It does get very busy on hot weekends, so parking can be tricky — it’s best to come early or use transit. The water can be a bit cold (Lake Ontario!) but it’s usually clean and refreshing.
Overall, a fantastic place to spend a summer day or catch a sunset. Highly recommend for both locals and visitors! 🌅🏖️"

"We love this beach as a couple. We had a lot of long, late night walks here discussing deep feelings. At the end of the walkway, there is a playground where we enjoy the swings and seesaw together and make our way back to our car.
It is crowded most of the times but we still love it. Lots of trees for having a cool picnic."

"Awesome place for a wonderful time.
Neat and clean water to swim or have fun.
Food truck and small restaurant is outside the beach area.
However, washrooms were not clean
I saw many people littering. Don't know what fun they get by spoiling such a beautiful beach.
Overall a great place to play beach volleyball or family picnic or fun with friends."
