What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors often describe the Kids Market as a nostalgic and fun-filled destination, especially for families with younger children. While some note the need for renovations and potential for high prices, the unique atmosphere, engaging play areas, and variety of toy shops continue to draw crowds. It's seen as a place that sparks imagination and creates lasting memories, despite some dated elements.
"What a throwback experience for me. My first time coming here was over 25 yrs ago but times have change right?
Plus the location in itself and parking is a nuisance. It’s in need of major renovations though. Some newer shops but they all seem to be lacking in foot traffic. Very pricey as well. Times are hard I know, especially for retail. It’s still good for a short visit. Anyone 7 yrs old and under should still find the decor somewhat amusing. Again it needs a major overhaul in my eyes. I suggest making it less consumer based. Compared to Asia this place is like a vintage experience. The location really has potential for maybe something that could tire the kids out, that way it’s worth the drive down for parents. Just my 2 cents."

"Came across here randomly while walking around in Granville Island. The kids got excited and they really enjoyed playing the arcade video games. They have private parties here too which is nice. Good to know for next time."

"We're visiting from out of town and the kids market had cute stores from educational to fun and my son couldn't decide what he wants to get! Plus the play area at the back is a special treat with nature too!"
