It faces the oldest building in the area, the Dominion Building, and you can even see the Harbour Center from here. It has a huge tree that blossoms in spring for a short while. It has a public washroom which I've never been to due to cleanliness issues with this place. It also has a water station opposite the Dominion Building."

"Due to layout of the park it has less crime.During the daylight hours it is a lovely place to have a picnic. This park also has a fair bit of talented performers that perform throughout the year and has a stage area for that.This park is very old yet very charming.Definitly adds to the community and is popular amongst young and old."

Planes fly over victory Square and children read their remembrance Day poems.
